At hotMoon, we strive to ensure that every transaction on our platform meets the high standards of our community. This Refund Policy governs the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for transactions conducted through the hotMoon platform.

General Conditions

Service Satisfaction: hotMoon is a marketplace that facilitates services between healthcare freelancers and clients. We encourage clients to resolve any service-related issues directly with the freelancer as the first course of action. If resolutions are unattainable, our support team is available to mediate and assist.

Eligibility for a Refund

  • Non-Delivery: A refund may be considered if the freelancer fails to deliver the agreed service within the specified delivery timeframe without a valid reason.
  • Service Not as Described: If a service delivered significantly differs from the original description or the work requirements specified in the job description, clients may be eligible for a refund.
  • Cancellation: Both freelancers and clients can agree to cancel a transaction mutually. If a mutual cancellation is agreed upon, clients may be eligible for a refund.

Process for Requesting a Refund

  • Contacting Support: To initiate a refund request, clients must contact hotMoon support within 14 days of the service delivery date.
  • Dispute Resolution: When a refund request is made, hotMoon will assess the case based on the evidence provided by both parties. The decision to grant a refund will be at hotMoon's discretion, following a review of the transaction and interaction between the parties.

Limitations

  • Refund Window: Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days from the completion of the transaction. Requests submitted after this period will not be considered.
  • Partial Refunds: In some cases, a partial refund may be issued if part of the service has been provided and the freelancer has incurred costs that need to be compensated.

Non-refundable Circumstances

  • Change of Mind: Refunds will not be provided for clients who have simply changed their mind about the services after work has commenced.
  • External Factors: hotMoon is not responsible for issues not within the control of the freelancer or those caused by external factors beyond our platform.
  • Additional Fees: Any additional fees, such as processing or transaction fees, are typically non-refundable.

Modifications to the Refund Policy

Policy Updates: hotMoon reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. We will notify users of any changes by revising the date at the top of this policy and, in some cases, may provide more prominent notice.
